Caledon

Caledon (2006 Population 57,050) is a town in the Regional Municipality of Peel in the Greater Toronto Area of Ontario, Canada. In terms of land use, Caledon is somewhat urban, though it is primarily rural in nature. Many of Toronto’s wealthiest citizens own large country estates in the area, among them many members of the Eaton Family, Norman Jewison, and the inventors of the board game Trivial Pursuit. It consists of an amalgamation of a number of urban areas, villages, and hamlets; its major urban centre is Bolton, located on its eastern side adjacent to York Region.

After relocating from the hectic life in the Los Angeles & Hollywood music promotion industry, Mary moved to a 100-acre farm with a century home in Adjala Township, north of Toronto and north-east of Caledon. Here she enjoyed the peaceful country life and developed her passion for gardening and cooking, as well as raising Basset Hounds and Irish Setters. Mary also dealt with an over-abundance of chicken eggs, getting stuck in snow drifts, and what to do with the neighbor’s wandering cows and pigs…a real learning experience for a newcomer to the country and Canada’s “winter living.”

Mary later moved to Caledon, where she has lived for 45+ years, and with husband, Roger, raised her family.

Mary’s hobbies include cooking, especially hot and spicy Chinese and Mexican, working in stained glass, painting, singing, and home decorating. She entered the real estate industry in 1989, and her background in promotion and negotiation has put her in the forefront amongst her peers.  In 2016, Mary was the overall top producing sales representative for the 15th Consecutive year for Sutton Group Central.  Mary & daughter, Kaitlan Klein are currently the #1 TOP TEAM for 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 for Century 21 Millennium’s Brampton office.
